D. Frank Moore was born in1850, died June 30, 1891. He married in Lebanon, AR., Feb. 13, 1876 to Harriet Katherine Chastain, he was 25 and she was 19. Her family is traced back to her 7th great grandfather Jacques Chastain who was born in France in 1598.
Their oldest son was Marion Jasper Moore, born Aug 28,1882, in what was known at that time as Hal County, Ark. He married Sarah Bell Stephens, Oct. 25, 1902, at Rev Hoose’s home, on the Canadian River near Porum, OK. She was born Jan. 16, 1888 at Fayetteville, AR.
He was 22, she was 14. (I,Thelmer, always thought she was 16)
Thelmer Moore, the 6th of their 12 children was born Aug. 6, 1915 in Blackgum, OK. He is the 9th great grandson of Jacques Chastain.
He married Anne Louise Knight in Mineral Wells, TX on Dec 27, 1941. She was born July 15, 1923 at Spur, Texas.
